Bartlett 43, Chugiak 42

Bartlett edged visiting Chugiak 43-42 on Monday, Feb. 3. Hannah Russel paced the Mustangs with 13 points.

Chugiak held a three-point lead at halftime. The Golden Bears took a one-point lead going into the final eight minutes.


Dimond 73, Eagle River 19

Visiting Dimond handed Eagle River a 73-19 loss Monday, Feb. 3. Samantha Coy led the Wolves with seven points and five rebounds.


BCS 48, Seldovia 24

Birchwood Christian School had three players in double figures en route to a 48-24 win over visiting Seldovia on Saturday, Feb. 1.

Top Warrior scorers included Aubrey Becker (16 points), Audrea Roberts (12) and Bryce Vickers (10).


Chugiak 68, Dimond 63

Brandy Bookout racked up 33 points and 11 rebounds to help visiting Chugiak down Dimond 68-63 on Friday, Jan. 31.

Ashlynn Burgess grabbed 12 boards for the Mustangs, who got 10 points from Nicole Pinckney.


Bartlett 54, Eagle River 42

Lauren Frost’s 17 points led Eagle River in a 54-42 loss to visiting Bartlett on Friday, Jan. 31. Lauryn Green scored eight points for the Wolves.


Wasilla 68, Chugiak 49

Pinckney and Burgess scored 12 points apiece in Chugiak’s 68-49 loss to visiting Wasilla on Jan. 30. Anna Ingraham grabbed 13 rebounds and added seven points for the Mustangs.


Kenai 49, Eagle River 35

Frost scored a team-high 17 points in Eagle River’s 49-35 loss to visiting Kenai Central on Jan. 30. Samantha Coy added 10 points for the Wolves.



Bartlett 63, Chugiak 52

Bartlett overcame a 33-25 halftime deficit and earned a 63-52 win over visiting Chugiak on Monday, Feb. 3.

Alex Hess led the Mustangs with 14 points. Zion Burgess added 11 points for Chugiak.


Dimond 60, Eagle River 53

Visiting Dimond downed Eagle River 60-53 on Monday, Feb. 3.

Thomas Jones scored 16 points to lead the Wolves. Collin Metzel added 13 points for Eagle River.


Seldovia 55, BCS 30

Visiting Seldovia earned a 55-30 victory over Birchwood Christian School on Saturday, Feb. 1.


Bartlett 66, Eagle River 59, 2OT

Visiting Bartlett outscored Eagle River 8-1 in the second overtime period to come away with a 66-59 win Friday, Jan. 31.

Eric Anderson’s 15 points led the Wolves, who had four players in double digits. The others included Jones (11), Metzel (11) and Alani Collins (10).


Dimond 53, Chugiak 32

Alex Hess paced the Mustangs with 12 points in Chugiak’s 53-32 loss to host Dimond on Friday, Jan. 31.


BCS 52, Nanwalek 46

Birchwood downed visiting Nanwalek 52-46 on Friday, Jan. 31. Tyler Keiffer poured in 19 points for the Warriors, who got 15 from Dakota Buyse.


West 67, Eagle River 49

Collins and Carlos Melvin scored nine points apiece in a 67-49 loss to West on Jan. 29.


East 68, Chugiak 45

Jared Phearson scored a game-high 18 points in Chugiak’s 68-45 loss to East on Jan. 29. Matt Oldenkamp scored 14 points for the Mustangs.



Chugiak splits with Service

Chugiak split with Service in Anchorage Scholastic Bowling League play Jan. 30 at Center Lanes. Marcus Gamble rolled a high game 224 to lead the boys to a 21-14 win. Chugiak’s girls fell 29-6 to the Cougars.


Eagle River, Dimond split

Mykela Carroll bowled a high game 232 to help Eagle River’s girls to a 21-14 win over Dimond. Keegan Crow’s high game of 234 led Eagle River’s boys, which fell 29-6.
