Six-Weeks Bran Muffins

“This recipe is excellent and came from Marge Shanks, who was our neighbor in Indiana during my childhood,” said Jinny Kirk.



15 oz. package of Post Raisin Bran

2 cups sugar

5 cups sifted flour

5 tsp. soda

2 tsp. salt



4 beaten eggs

1 cup vegetable oil

1 quart buttermilk


Put in a plastic container and refrigerate. Do not freeze. Will keep six weeks. Bake as needed at 375 degrees for 20 minutes.
