Missing wings

A Piper Cub airplane has been reported stolen from the Birchwood Airport, according to the Anchorage Police Department.

The plane is a 1950 Piper PA-18, with a tail number of N7533K.

The piper cub is described as lime green/white with large tundra tires, a damaged tail with missing elevator, data plate 18-249.

The plane is inoperable and may be being sold for parts. It was reported missing around June 6.
