Police Blotter for the week of June 11 to 17
Accident -- Vehicle was in inbound lanes moved to outbound, crashed through retaining wall at the 22200 block of Birchwood Loop in Chugiak.
Threat – An Eagle River caller reported being threatened by the girlfriend of the boss’s husband, police took a report.
Fraud – A Chugiak caller said they had sent money to someone to buy a dog, but the breeder did not send the dog.
Assualt – Police reported to a home on the 192 block of First St. in Eagle River. Police took Daniel Gleason, 47, into custody on suspicion of assult.
SHOP -- Shoplifted from Carr’s Dakota Lehrman, 19, on suspicion of stealing a chicken from the deli.
Theft -- Report over the phone, theft of bike from Davis St. in Eagle River.
Accident -- Eklutna someone hit a moose, a charity came out and get the moose carcass, police said.
Burglary – Caller reported burglary to a home in Eagle River.
Accident – At Mile 7 of Eklutna Lake. A pick up truck was on its side.
Theft -- Unknown suspects broke into three vehicles and stole stuff out of them, in the 21900 block of Sheltering in Chugiak. Another attempted car burglary was reported later in the same area.
Theft --a pistol and a knife were stolen from a vehicle overnight in the 24700 block of Homestead in Chugiak.
Theft -- Several items stolen from a vehicle on East Eagle River Loop Road. Later another caller reported an attempted vehicle break-in, near the same area.
Accident -- Near Eagle River Nature Center, a motorcyclist drove off the road and into a rocky area and was transported to the hospital.
Accident -- A red Ford sedan drove through a fence and ended up in a backyard. No injuries were reported.
