The following were Anchorage Police Department Calls for the Chugiak-Eagle River area from June 26 to July 1
Sunday, June 26
Abuse— Police responded to an incident in the 11600 block of Celestial in Eagle River.
Accident –Police responded to a motor vehicle accident on Glenn Highway near Chugiak.
Tuesday, June 28
Accident – Police responded to a motor vehicle accident by Eklutna Flats. A vehicle hit and killed a moose.
A charity came and collected the moose.
Wednesday, June 29
Fraud – An employee reported from First National Bank Alaska that someone had a deposited a counterfeit $100 bill.
Theft— Unknown suspects stole a boat from in front of the caller’s home in the 19400 block of Klondike in Chugiak.
Thursday, June 30
Accident -- Officer was dispatched to a call regarding an abandoned vehicle. As he left the substation he crashed the patrol car into a 4-foot yellow pole.
Theft— Caller had left his home for six weeks and three guns went missing from the home in the 12400 block of Crested Butte Eagle River.
DUI— Caller said vehicle was swerving. Police pulled the vehicle over at McDonalds and arrested Debra Crowder 48, on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.
Friday, July 1
DUI—Police stopped vehicle that was swerving in and out of lanes at Aurora and Monte. Police arrested Samantha Jerauld, 30, on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and misuse of plates on the vehicle.
Accident—Police responded to a single-vehicle rollover at the Hiland exit. No injuries reported.
Accident— Police responded to a single-vehicle rollover on the Glenn Highway, inbound, between the Birchwoods.
Accident— Toyota hit a moose in the 22200 block of Lake Hill in Chugiak. No injuries to the driver were reported.
