Chugiak’s Elise Paunic and Matthew Budin will marry on June 30, 2012 at the Millennium Alaskan Hotel “On the Green” in Anchorage.
The bride is the daughter of Radosav and Rachel Paunic of Eagle River. She graduated from Chugiak High School in 1997 and from the University of Alaska Anchorage in 2004 with an associate’s degree in small business administration. She works as a credit specialist for NC Machinery, the Caterpillar dealership of Alaska. She loves spending time with the groom-to-be and outdoor activities, including fishing, camping, snowboarding and hiking. Her most treasured hobby is visiting with family and friends.
The groom is the son of Rudy and Dianne Budin of Sterling, Colo., and Jane Hayes of Homeworth, Ohio. He graduated from Sterling High School in 1998 and from the Colorado School of Mines in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science degree in mining engineering. He is known to be a collector of firearms. He also savors a great smoky/peaty scotch from time to time. He loves spending time with the bride-to-be, and cherishes the time he spends with his family and friends.
