Led by freshman Nicole Pinckney, Chugiak’s girls basketball team started its Cook Inlet Conference schedule with a 47-30 win over visiting Bartlett on Monday, Jan. 6. A strong offense keyed the victory, said Pinckney, who pumped in a team-high 16 points. “Our offense was really working,” she said. “We were getting baskets and shot opportunities.”
