After losing a 5-4 decision to Ketchikan’s Isaac Lontz earlier, Eagle River High freshman Gavin Arnold edged Lontz 2-1 to claim third place at 132 pounds at the North/South Wrestling Tournament at Soldotna on Saturday, Dec. 1.
Lauren Fritz, a 2006 graduate of Eagle River High and a member of the Alaska Pacific University Elite ski team, has been named to the United States roster for the upcoming World Cup Nordic ski races in Quebec.
