Krista Ruth Lundberg, or Eagle River, was named to the Seattle Pacific University 2012 Autumn Quarter Dean’s List. Students on the Dean’s List have completed at least 12 credits and attained a 3.50 or higher grade point average. Chugiak’s Kristen Lessard was named to the University of Wyoming’s 2012 fall semester Dean’s Freshman Honor Roll. The honor roll consists of regularly enrolled undergraduates above freshman standing who earned a 3.4 or better grade point average, and freshmen who have earned a 3.25 or better GPA. To be eligible, students must have been enrolled for a minimum of 12 credit hours taken for letter grades.
Air Force Airman Stephen M. Cochran graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.
Ariel Talen-Keller, of Peters Creek, Mrs. Alaska United America and founder of Aero Femme Non-Profit Organization and Scholarship Fund, recently donated $500 for scholarships to the Alaska Military Youth Academy. Scholarships will be awarded on March 1 to graduates at AMYA graduation.
