Chugiak mushers Jim Lanier and Mike Suprenant will be among a field of 66 mushers who hit the trail this weekend for the 2012 Iditarod Sled Dog Race.

Chugiak’s girls basketball moved into third place in the Cook Inlet Conference with a 53-46 win over East on Wednesday, Feb. 22. With the victory, the Mustangs improved to 8-5 in the conference heading into their final regular season game Friday, Feb. 24 at Bartlett at 6 p.m.
