Eagle River’s Jordan Alyse received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Mississippi in Oxford, Miss., on May 12, 2012.
Beth Martin, of Eagle River, has been named to the President’s List for the spring semester at Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, Ga. Martin is a writing and linguistics major. To be eligible for the President’s List, students must have at least a 4.0 GPA and carry a minimum 12 credits.
Donald Ramey, of Eagle River, has been named to the Dean’s List for the spring semester at Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, Ga. Ramey is a pre-sport management major. To be eligible for the Dean’s List, students must have at least a 3.5 GPA and carry a minimum 12 credits.
Elizabeth Anne Hunt, a junior petroleum engineering student at Missouri University of Science and Technology (Rolla, Mo.), has been named to that university’s Honor List for the spring 2012 semester. To make the list, students must maintain a GPA of at least 3.2 while taking 12 credit hours.
Michael McCurtain, of Eagle River, has been named to the Dean’s List for the Spring 2012 semester at Marian University in Fond Du Lac, Wisc. Students must be full-time and maintain at least a 3.5 GPA to make the Dean’s List.
Elizabeth Jemar, of Eagle River, has been named to the Dean’s List for the Spring 2012 semester at Mayville State University in Mayville, N.D. To be named to the list, students must maintain a minimum 3.5 GPA while taking at least 12 credits.

Douglas Halfdane Leavelle, of Eagle River, graduated Navy Basic and Navy Aircrew training at Naval Air Station Pensacola in Pensacola, Fla.
Longtime Eagle River resident Kyle Albert graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering on June 10, 2012. Kyle attended Chugiak High School and is the son of former Eagle River resident Steve Albert. Starting this fall, Kyle will be attending the University of Alaska Anchorage to pursue a Master’s of Science in Civil Engineering. He is currently employed by the university as a civil engineering research assistant, exploring hydrokinetic energy resources in Alaska.
Eagle River’s Breeanna Bateman has been named to the Honor List at Minnesota State University, Mankato, for the Spring Semester. To qualify for the list, students must have earned between a 3.5 and 3.99 GPA while enrolled in at least 12 credit hours of study.
Ryan Jarvis, of Eagle River, graduated from the Ithaca College (Ithaca, NY) School of Business with a major in Business Administration in May 2012.
