Alexis Sayer, of Chugiak, has been named to the Dean’s List at Linfield College in McMinnville, Ore. In order to be named to the Dean’s List, students must complete 12 graded credits and be in the top 10 percent of their class.
Army Spec. Jeremy W. Farnsworth has returned to the U.S. after being deployed overseas at a forward operating base to serve in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Farnsworth is a 2000 graduate of Chugiak High School and the son of Joan Farnsworth and stepson of Paul Farnsworth of Palmer.
Matthew Taylor, Eagle River, earned a place on the fall 2012 semester Dean’s List at University of Central Missouri.
Krista Ruth Lundberg, or Eagle River, was named to the Seattle Pacific University 2012 Autumn Quarter Dean’s List. Students on the Dean’s List have completed at least 12 credits and attained a 3.50 or higher grade point average. Founded in 1891, Seattle Pacific University is a premier Christian university that equips people to engage the culture and change the world. Its comprehensive academic program serves more than 4,000 undergraduate and graduate students. Chugiak’s Kristen Lessard was named to the University of Wyoming’s 2012 fall semester Dean’s Freshman Honor Roll. The honor roll consists of regularly enrolled undergraduates above freshman standing who earned a 3.4 or better grade point average, and freshmen who have earned a 3.25 or better GPA. To be eligible, students must have been enrolled for a minimum of 12 credit hours taken for letter grades.
