Governor beholden to corporations

Governor Parnell constantly talks about his guiding principles. The guiding principles of Alaska are found in a document called the Alaska Constitution. That document outlines the duties of our elected officials in regards to resource development.

Demboski the right choice for assembly

Spring is around the corner and so is another local election. The projected voter turnout is 15 percent. I would like to encourage the voters of Chugiak, Birchwood, Eagle River and JBER to get out and vote on Tuesday, April 2 for Amy Demboski for Assembly.

Cheer teams inspire spirit

Congrats to the Mustangs Cheer Team and coach winning the Region title and to Eagle River for earning two second place trophies. The coach noted these kids are true athletes and I recognized some in the photos as top gymnasts and soccer players. With the basketball season nearing the final month of games perhaps the Mustang cheer team could put on a few halftime performances at CHS before their Florida competition.
