Man, 60, dies in Hiland rollover
German Shepherd also killed in Thursday accident
Cars line up while waiting to go up Hiland Road on July 26 near the scene of a single-vehicle rollover that police say killed James Finn, 60, of Eagle River.
Anchorage police said an Eagle River man died when his vehicle rolled over on Hiland Road on Thursday, July 26.
James Finn, 60, was driving a white Ford Ranger pickup when it rolled at Mile 3.7 of Hiland Road around 11 a.m., said APD spokesman Lt. Dave Parker.
Police still do not know what caused the truck to roll over, ADP spokesperson Marlene Lammers said Friday.
No other vehicles were involved, Parker said.
Police closed Hiland Road for a few hours after the rollover.
Finn’s German Shepherd was also killed in the accident, Parker said.
