Thanks for your time, and kindness
This is a thank you letter, sent in hopes that Mike, whose last name was left unsaid, reads the Alaska Star.
Please know that your extremely helpful kindness this Saturday afternoon was hugely appreciated. I am so grateful for your help with the tire that had detached from my borrowed car. Even as it became “the project that never ends,” you kept your cool; patiently explaining every step of the fixing process as you worked.
That you would give up hours of your weekend to see a perfect stranger safely home amazes me. That you would do so with such patience and with an upbeat attitude, asking nothing in return, speaks volumes about the kind of person you are.
May your kindness come back to you and yours in spades.
P.S. A big shout-out to father and son of Skip’s Automotive Repair and to off-duty Trooper Kessler and his wife, who also came to the rescue. Deepest thanks!
