Eagle River’s boys team also posted a big win with a 20-10 victory over South.
Through Week 4 of the season, both the Eagle River boys and girls teams remained in second place in the Anchorage Scholastic Bowling League behind Dimond.
The Chugiak girls picked up their first win of the season, dropping Service 20.5 to 9.5. Mariah Schiffer rolled a 183 to lead the eighth-place Mustangs in regular play.
Chugiak’s boys team fell 19-11 to the Cougars. Steven Wehr’s 184 was the top individual score for the seventh-place Mustangs.
Today at 3:30 p.m., Eagle River Bowl will host the “All Mixed Up Baker Tournament,” in which random high school bowlers will be paired up with top adult bowlers from the Anchorage Bowling Association.
The fun tournament marks the end of bowling for the calendar year. Prep bowlers will be off until their regular Week 5 matches on Jan. 5 at Center Bowl in Anchorage.
