Man enters home, takes nothing, leaves, gets citation

Anchorage police said they cited and released Thaddeus Tikiun, 34, of Eagle River for unauthorized entry on Jan. 29 after receiving a report of a burglary around 1 a.m. A resident of Aurora Street told dispatchers she woke up and found a strange man in her house, according to a police report. The man “left when confronted and nothing appeared to be missing, the report stated. The woman told dispatchers she watched the man return to a house behind hers.
