Eagle River hockey downs Bartlett Thursday night

Carter Jesiel added two goals and an assist for the Wolves, who also got goals from Bryan Grant and Quinn Hulse.
The victory clinched the No. 6 seed in the upcoming CIC tournament for Eagle River. The Wolves will play No. 3 South on Tuesday, Jan. 31 — time and rink TBA.
Justin Lopez made 15 saves for Eagle River, which peppered Bartlett goalie Justin Driskell with 37 shots. Zack Perry scored three goals and had two assists for the Golden Bears, who ended their conference season 0-14-0.
Eagle River improved its CIC record to 3-8-2 with one game left in the regular season.
Eagle River will face Chugiak (5-7-1 CIC) at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 28 at the McDonald Center in the final game of the regular season.
Eagle River has not lost to its crosstown rival since 2010 — the teams skated to a 1-1 tie in November, and the Wolves swept the two-game series last season.
