Body found near Eklutna Lake Road

Anchorage Police say a hiker on snowshoes discovered human remains near Eklutna Lake Road on Tuesday afternoon.

According to Lt. Dave Parker, police were called to the scene at 5:10 p.m. Tuesday. Parker said the identity of the person has yet to be determined pending the results of the Alaska State Medical Examiner’s investigation.
