Kelly Cobb is making another big run.

The Duke University freshman striker and 2011 Chugiak High graduate helped her team earn a spot in the women's soccer national semifinals — also known as the College Cup — with a 2-0 win over Long Beach State on Friday, Nov. 25.

Cobb didn't score in the match, though she did lead the team in shots — including one that bounced off the crossbar.

So far this year, Cobb leads her team in goals (11), points (30), shots (89), shots on goal (40) and game-winning goals (6).

Duke (21-3-1) will play their Atlantic Coast Conference rival and No. 1 seed Demon Deacons on Dec. 2 at KSU Soccer Stadium in Kennesaw, Ga.

The Blue Devils last reached the national semifinals in 1992, when they lost in the title game.
