10:00-11:30am Fairytale Theatre – Puppet Stage (ages 5-8)

Danielle DeShasier introduces our youngest patrons to traditional tales and draws stories and characters from their own imaginations, through puppetry, mime, and movement.

11:30-1:00pm Broadway Voice (ages 8-19)

Sing your way into stardom! Pick your favorite Broadway hits, find that perfect audition song, a fine tune your vocal performance with local songstress, director, and music educator Krystal DeJesus.  No experience necessary. 

1:00-2:30pm Theatre Games (ages 8-19) Learn a host of acting skills by accident! This workshop series, taught by actor/writer Ernie Piper, uses theatre games as a vehicle to improve performance ability.  For participants, the game format keeps it fun and engaging, while the theatrical purpose of the game becomes part of muscle memory and brain function.  Expect improvements in areas like: focus, timing, memorization, freedom of movement, adaptability, quick thinking, characterization, non-verbal communication and living “in the moment.”
