Learn how to become a citizen scientist and monitor insects at the Eagle River Nature Center. “Citizen scientists” have made some of the most significant pest detections in recent decades.  It takes everyone working together to monitor for introduced organisms that may impact our natural environment.  Join Michael Rasy, pest management specialist with the UAF Cooperative Extension Service, to learn about common native insects as well as invasive insects of concern.  Free program; $5 parking for non-members.
