Dick Griffith, whose wilderness travels have been chronicled in the recent book "Canyons and Ice," by Eagle River author Kaylene Johnson, will give a presentation about his adventures at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 6 at Jitters Coffee Shop in honor of Alaska Book Week.

Following the presentation, Griffith will be on hand to answer questions and Johnson will sign copies of her recent book. The event is free; copies of the book are $24.95.
