All Ages Program

Chickadees are among the most widely recognized birds at Alaskan birdfeeders and in the Alaskan forest.  But how much do you know about them?  How does such a small bird survive the long, cold winters?  What winter survival techniques do they employ to survive? Come learn the fascinating natural history of these little birds at an indoor presentation by volunteer naturalist Beth Baker, while watching them at the feeders right outside the Nature Center. Free program; $5 parking for non-members.
