An initiative signing party to gather signatures for two municipal ballot initiatives — one that would make school board seats elected by area (rather than municipality wide) and another that would allow by-mail voting — will be held Jan. 26 and Feb. 2 at Jitters in Eagle River. The Jan. 26 event will be from 5 until 8 p.m., the Feb. 2 event is scheduled for 8 a.m. to noon. |
