After many years at KTUU-Channel 2, Rhonda McBride is moving across town to KTVA-Channel 11, where her focus will be on Rural Alaska. Rhonda started in rural Alaska at KYUK in Bethel, where she served as news director in a bilingual newsroom. In 2008, she took a break from broadcasting and worked for Governor Sarah Palin as her Rural Advisor. From dental health to education to politics, Rhonda’s passion is rural issues, the subject of her talk at the monthly luncheon of Alaska Professional Communicators. The public is invited.
