WHAT DOES A WILDLIFE BIOLOGIST DO?
USGS scientist Sarah McCloskey will talk to young people of all ages about her job as wildlife biologist working with migratory birds all over Alaska. If you like animals, exploring new places and playing outdoors, you might make a great Wildlife Biologist! Participants will have a chance to discover the beautiful remote areas she calls her “office” and learn some of the exciting techniques biologists use to study Alaska’s wildlife through hands-on activities and games.
