WOLVERINE BOWL HIKE (Registration req’d)
Join volunteers Bob and Ann Fisher for a 5.2-mile roundtrip hike on the Wolverine Bowl Trail, starting from the Prospect Heights trailhead in Anchorage ($5 parking; AK State Park daily parking passes are honored). The hike involves a 700 ft elevation gain. Hikers should be in good shape and bring daypack with snacks, water, wind/snow clothing and foot traction aids. Free, but limited to the first 12 people, ages 18 and up, who register by calling 694-2108.
