First-place South (8-0) dealt Eagle River a 9-0 Cook Inlet Conference defeat Tuesday, Dec. 11 at the McDonald Center. The Wolves fell to 3-5 in the CIC.

 

Wasilla 3, Chugiak 0

The Mustangs fell 3-0 to nonconference Wasilla on Tuesday, Dec. 11 at the Brett Ice Arena.

 

Chugiak 2, Lathrop 1, OT

Nick Fussner scored with just 1:16 left in overtime to lift Chugiak past nonconference Lathrop 2-1 on Saturday, Dec. 8 at the Mac.

Chugiak’s Sam Hanson knotted the game at 1-1 with a goal late in the first period.

Goaltender Jack Straub made 22 saves, including five in overtime, for the Mustangs.

 

West Valley 5, Eagle River 2

Dalton Gally and Quinn Hulse scored for Eagle River in a 5-2 loss to West Valley on Saturday, Dec. 8 at the Mac.

 

West Valley 3, Chugiak 0

Visiting West Valley scored a goal in each period to down Chugiak 3-0 in nonconference action Dec. 6 at the Mac.

 

GIRLS

CER 5, South-Bartlett 4, OT

Holly Linder scored three unanswered goals, including the game-winner in overtime, to lift Chugiak-Eagle River to a 5-4 win over South-Bartlett on Saturday, Dec. 8 at Ben Boeke. The victory was CER’s first of the season.

Autumn Sperry added a goal and three assists and Daylie Hislop scored for CER.

 

Dimond-West 10, CER 0

Dimond-West handed CER a 10-0 loss Dec. 5 at Ben Boeke.
