Dimond's Marianne Kristiansen scored with 8:28 left in the third period to lift second-seeded Dimond-West to a 1-0 win over No. 3 Chugiak-Eagle River in the semifinals of the Cook Inlet Conference tournament on Wednesday, Feb. 1 at Ben Boeke Arena.

Chugiak-Eagle River outshot Dimond-West 17-12 in the game, but couldn't break through against goalie Taylor Sebring.

Nicole Mrugala made 11 stops for Chugiak-Eagle River.

Dimond-West advanced to Friday's championship game, where they'll play No. 4 Service-East. Service-East upset South-Bartlett 2-1 in Wednesday's early game.
