Let nothing separate you from God’s love
“For I am certain that nothing can separate us from his love: neither death nor life, neither angels nor other heavenly rulers or powers, neither the present nor the future, neither the world above nor the world below — there is nothing in all creation that will ever be able to separate us from the love of God which is ours through Christ Jesus our Lord.”
— Romans 8:38-39 (GNT)
Think about it for a moment, for it is the only reasonable conclusion. If a man does not love God, he does not place his life into the hands of God. How can God take care of Him? If a man turns his back and walks away from God, how can God look after him? God is not going to force his care upon him. He is not going to make him a mechanical robot! God will not force him to live at His beck and call. Because such is not love; it is only mechanical behavior.
What God wants is love that flows from a heart that chooses to love Him. This is our choice we either turn our lives over to Him in love or we continue to take our lives in our own hands. I am certain that nothing can separate us from His love; however, we must accept Christ in our hearts and not turn away from Him but turn to Him. We must ask God for forgiveness for our sins and He will forgive us then we will be in right relationship with the Father.
There will be many things that will challenge our relationship with God, but always remember to seek Him first and His righteousness, and that you will know right from wrong while learning to enjoy life’s journey.
Again, let nothing separate you from God’s love.
