Irene’s Dogwood Salad

1 pkg. each lemon and lime Jello

2 cups boiling water and 1 ½ cup cold water

Dash of salt

2 teaspoons lemon juice

1 cup evaporated milk

1 cup crushed pineapple

1 cup crushed walnuts

1 small carton cottage cheese

1 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing

Combine Jello, water, salt and lemon juice. Stand until cool. Add milk. Stand until slightly set. Fold in pineapple, nuts, cottage cheese and mayonnaise. Refrigerate until firm.
