Prep soccer teams played outdoors in Anchorage area for the first time this season this week. Here’s a look at scores for Chugiak and Eagle River:

 

GIRLS

Eagle River 3, Service 1

Eagle River (5-5) defeated Service 3-1 on Monday, May 6 at Chugiak High. Elana Williams, Allonna Walker and Shayna Wolery scored for the Wolves.

Eagle River travels to Dimond today (May 9) at 5 p.m. before hosting West on Saturday, May 11 at 11 a.m.

 

Chugiak 3, East 1

Second-half goals by Tristyn Hall and Jessi Beverlin lifted Chugiak to a 3-1 win over East on Friday, May 3 at The Dome. Beverlin also scored in the first half, which ended tied 1-1.

Hall assisted on Beverlin’s second tally, and Holly Brehmer assisted on the Mustangs’ other two goals.

Chugiak (6-3-1) played Service on Wednesday, May 8, but a score was not available before the Star went to press.

The Mustangs host Dimond on Saturday, May 11 at 5 p.m.

 

Eagle River 8, Juneau 1

Shayna Wolery racked up four goals to lead Eagle River past nonconference Juneau-Douglas 8-1 on May 2 at The Dome.

Allonna Walker, Elexa Walker, Nikki Boggs and Gaby Mordini also scored for the Wolves.

 

BOYS

Service 10, Eagle River 2

Darnell Janson and Josh Oberlander scored for Eagle River in a 10-2 loss to Service on Monday, May 6 at Chugiak High.

The Wolves (2-8) travel to Dimond today (May 9) at 7 p.m. before hosting West on Saturday, May 11 at 1 p.m.

 

Chugiak 1, East 1

Chugiak (2-7-1) played to a 1-1 draw with East on Friday, May 3 at The Dome. The Mustangs played Service on Wednesday, May 8, but a score was not available when the Star went to press.

Chugiak hosts Dimond on Saturday, May 11 at 7 p.m.

 

Juneau 4, Eagle River 0

Nonconference Juneau-Douglas defeated Eagle River 4-0 on May 2 at The Dome.
