Lynn Alin Bradfield, 54, of Eagle River, passed away at Providence Alaska Medical Center on April 29, 2014 due to cancer.

A memorial service will be held at a later date, for which all friends and family will be notified. Lynn’s cremated remains will be scattered at two of his favorite fishing spots, Jim Creek as well as Deep Creek in Ninilchik.

Lynn was born on December 27, 1959, in Tacoma Washington to William and Ella Bradfield. He was raised in Eagle River, where she attended elementary and high school, graduating from Chugiak High School in 1979.

Lynn made his living as a handyman and enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding four wheelers.

His family said, “He was a passionate outdoorsman and an exceptional fisherman who could catch a fish when no one else could. He loved being with his friends and spending time with his father, William Bradfield.”

Lynn was preceded in death by his brother, Gary Bradfield; and his mother, Ella Bradfield.

He is survived by his father, William Bradfield; brother and sister-in-law, Billy and Glenda Nafus; sister and brother in law Aurtha Lee and Randy Peterson; sister and brother-in-law, Donna and Dennis Meager; Kathy Olinger and son, William Olinger, as well as many, many friends.

Memorial donations may be made to a favorite charity in Lynn’s honor.

The family would like to thank Providence Family Medicine as well as the doctors and nurses of Providence Alaska Medical Center for their excellent care and compassion.

Services were by Kehl’s Legacy Funeral Home.
