Cogdell is Olympics-bound
Eagle River's Corey Cogdell won the U.S. Olympic trap shooting trials on Sunday, May 20, in Tucson, Ariz.

Corey Cogdell is shooting off to London.
Cogdell, of Eagle River, earned the lone U.S. women's berth in trapshooting at this summer's Olympic Games with a victory Sunday, May 20, at the U.S. Olympic Trials in Tucson, Ariz.
Cogdell, 25, hit 460 out of 500 targets during the three-day competition to claim victory.
It will be Cogdell's second Olympics. She also qualified in 2008, winning a bronze medal in Beijing.
