Police seek suspect in Eagle River shooting

Anchorage police are seeking the public's help in locating Daniel Rosendahl, who they say shot a man in the head April 24 in downtown Eagle River.

Anchorage Police are looking for Daniel "Fat Dan" Rosendahl iin connection with an April 24 shooting in the Eagle River Alaska Club Parking lot on Business Boulevard.
According to APD spokeswoman Dani Myren, Rosendahl, 26, is a heavyset white male, about 5-feet-11 with short dark hair and green eyes.
Rosendahl allegedly shot a man following a botched marijuana transaction in the parking lot of the Homestead Lounge. According to police, the victim gave Rosendahl money for the drugs but didn't get anything in return. When he demanded his money back, the man said "Fat Dan" punched him in the face several times. The man followed Rosendahl into the Alaska Club parking lot, where he was shot during the continuing fight. Several people witnessed the incident, which took place at around 8:30 p.m.
Following the gunfire, both men fled in separate vehicles. The victim went to a nearby residence to treat his wound, which was not considered life-threatening.
