ER girls cross country makes history
Wolves team is first to qualify for the state meet with 3rd place CIC showing.

Eagle River's girls cross country team has made history.
Led by a seventh-place finish by senior Evy Hail, the Wolves finished third as a team at Saturday's Cook Inlet Conference Championships at Kincaid Park to earn the school's first team berth at the state meet.
The top four teams (and any other individuals in the top 15 spots) earn automatic berths to state, which will be held next Saturday at Bartlett.
Chugiak's Samantha Hartke will join the Wolves' girls at state after finishing 12th to earn an automatic state berth.
Hannah Stevens was 13th for Eagle River, Nikki Boggs was 14th, Sierra Richardson finished 22nd and Shayna Wolery was 33rd.
