Dr. Timothy W. Skala opened a new medical clinic in Eagle River. Skala decided to stay in Eagle River after he completed three years as a flight surgeon at Fort Richardson. His new office included two exam rooms, a laboratory and an X-ray machine that was housed in a lead-lined room.
