Home Made Egg Noodles

1 egg
2 tbs milk
1 cup flour (approx)
½ tsp salt
Pinch of pepper

Beat milk and egg together in a bowl
Add salt & pepper
Mix well
Add flour gradually to make very stiff dough
Roll thin as chamois cloth
Let set to dry (1 to 2 hr)
Slice about ½ in wide
Boil with any type meat until tender

Sharon Womac first came to Alaska in 1953.  She and her husband Jay and their two children later rented the Paul Curtis home at mile 22 ½ in Chugiak.
They eventually purchased a small unfinished home at mile 22 where she now has a collection of authentic Early American antiques.  Sharon is the leader of the “Cookbooks,” a 4H cooking club.
