The Eagle River Lions will host our annual Independence Day Celebration on July 3-4 at Lions Park in Eagle River.

The free event begins at 6 p.m. on July 3, with the official opening ceremony scheduled for 8 p.m.

This year’s 23rd annual community celebration includes face painting, games, food vendors, a beer garden, live bands, fireworks, and a USAF fighter jet flyover!

The annual fireworks show begins at Midnight. As always, it’s free parking and admission and guaranteed fun for the whole family!

The Eagle River Lions would like to thank the Sleeping Lady Lions, Chugiak Lions, BP Alaska, ConocoPhillips Alaska, Chugiak Area Business Association, VFW Post 9785, Sourdough Express Trucking and Representative Bill Stoltze for helping make this wonderful annual event possible.

Come on out and enjoy the celebration!
