Candidate says thanks

Chugiak-Eagle River is such a wonderful and supportive community to live in. Let me express how thankful I am for our town and for the great people who live here. Nearly 100 people (and three furry friends) came out to join my campaign team and me to march in the Bear Paw Parade! I greatly appreciate each and every one of you! Your energy and enthusiasm was inspiring.

During the course of the three days of this year’s hugely successful Bear Paw Festival, hundreds more stopped by our campaign booth to find out more information and to lend their support for my campaign for State House. I was overwhelmed and humbled by the breadth and depth of support.

To the staff and leadership of the Chugiak-Eagle River Chamber of Commerce and their vast team of helpers, many thanks! You are an outstanding association of business people who celebrate our splendid community in so many ways. This year was no exception to the high caliber of our Bear Paw Festival events.

Because of people like all of you, Ellen and I have chosen to live and raise our family in Eagle River for the past 27 years. We’d like to continue to give back to our community in any way that we can. Thanks again, old friends and new friends, for your phenomenal support and encouragement at Bear Paw!
