Republican nominee says thanks

They say that every journey begins with a first step, but this one has begun with tens of thousands. In my campaign to represent Eagle River in the Alaska State House, I walked countless miles through our district, knocking on thousands of doors and getting to know so many of Eagle River’s amazing residents. I’ve heard your concerns, your successes, and your suggestions, and I have truly enjoyed sharing my ideas with you as well. Thank you for your overwhelming support, unprecedented number of yard sign requests, your donations, and your endorsements. Most of all thank you for your votes: I am humbled and honored to be the Republican nominee for State House in District 26. I would like to thank my opponents for running enthusiastic and constructive races, and hope that we are all able to put aside our differences as we head into the general election. There is important work to do in Alaska: we need to work together to make Alaska more attractive for business, support our educational systems, and make our communities stronger, healthier, happier places to live. I hope that these first steps have been just the beginning. If you would like to get involved with the campaign or get in touch, please visit the campaign website at It has been a pleasure and an blessing getting to know many of you, and I would be proud to be your voice in Juneau.
