Equal Rights

It is clear that “all men are created equal” as stated in the Declaration of Independence. The Bible asserted equality long before the Declaration of Independence. Biblically speaking there is no difference between the sexes (even Jew or Gentile) as far as God our Creator is concerned. This is certainly true when we think about salvation by the Blood of Christ, as whosoever will, may come and partake of the water of life freely (Revelation 22:17). Thank God for the grace that is equally extended to all people, regardless of culture, gender or color of skin, etc.

However, there seem to be men and women who excel in different areas of life. For example, there are those who prosper in business finance, those who have been granted ability to succeed in sports, and those who are mechanically inclined. Furthermore, there are those who are called by God to a higher purpose in this world. Such people are called “Christian” and they understand God’s will for their lives and His Kingdom. There are no limits to a man or woman who can simply believe God’s Word, then apply the truths gleaned. You see, with men things can seem impossible at times; but with God, the One true God of the Scripture, nothing is impossible! (Matthew 19:26)

We as believers should dare to step out on the water and believe God for big things: spiritual, financial, physical, emotional, social, or whatever. The Lord desires for His people (born again) to be blessed in this life and receive the coming literal Kingdom that is prepared for His saints. It is certain our world is about to change for the worse, but that will be temporary. One day Jesus will return and the Triune Godhead will take over completely. In that day, it will no longer be a democracy, but rather a theocracy!

As this day approaches, what should people do to prepare? People should commit their lives to the Lord Jesus Christ and simply trust Him all the way. People need to purposely develop a certain initiative and drive to excel in life’s journey. Remember, success in man’s eyes may not be success in the eyes of the Lord. One must find God’s will and by faith, simply do it. God’s will is His Word.

Doing God’s will involves a willingness to come out from the norm of humanity. Albert Einstein once said, “The woman who follows the crowd will usually go no further than the crowd. The woman who walks alone is likely to find herself in places no one has ever been before.”

This statement is very true; however, the true believer is never actually alone. The Bible says the Holy Spirit “will never leave you nor forsake you.” (Hebrews 13:5) God has already made the way to have success and to find happiness. This fulfillment absolutely involves a relationship with the risen Christ. Do you have it? Do you want it? “Seek and you shall find.” (Matthew 7:7) Find the meaning to life.

Seek the Creator God, the one true God of the Bible. Through Him, we find all the answers to life. Those answers are contained in the canon of Scripture, commonly known as The Holy Bible, and are applicable today. One can discover his/her purpose in life by knowledge of the infallible Scripture. If you don’t already have one, get a King James Version Bible today. ead it, and believe the absolute truths contained therein. Find a good New Testament, Bible-believing, Spirit-filled congregation and commit to the work of God in regular church attendance. God’s business is souls. If you will help take care of God’s business, He will take care of yours!
