Tiven Collin Dailey
Tiven Collin Dailey, of Grayland, Wash., died April 26, 2013. He was 3.
Tiven was born to Kathryn and Jon Dailey at the home of midwife Laura Hamilton, in Napavine, Wash. on Nov. 3, 2009. In 2011, Tiven, his father and brother moved to Bay City, Wash., and then to Grayland.
“Tiven loved to wear hats, call people on his pretend phone, play superhero, fly kites and collect treasures on the beach,” his family said. “Most of all, he loved to play with his brother and his daddy. He loved sleepovers with grani and his Aunty Sara, and playing with his ‘sissies’ and cousins. And that smile of his just lit up the world.”
He was preceded in death by his step-grandfather, “Papa” Paul Singleton of Rochester, Wash.; and his great aunt, Michaela Hall Richard of Eagle River.
He is survived by his father, Jon C. Dailey and brother Hunter C. Dailey, both of Grayland; mother, Kathryn Dailey and her family of Lewis County, Wash.; his other mom, Tiffiny McKay and her family and twins (sissies)Taylor and Payton Herman of Centralia, Wash.; his aunt, Sara Dailey, uncle Caleb Floyd, cousins Cora, Nola and Cameron, all of Centralia, Wash.; grandmother “Grani” Patricia Singleton; great-grandparents Mike and Rae Hall of Eagle River; grandfather, Greg Dailey and step-grandmother Natonya Dailey of Bothell, Wash.; and many other relatives in Washington, Alaska and Arizona.
Pastor Paul Anderson officiated at the graveside service at Grand Mound Cemetery on May 6, 2013, followed by a private family gathering. The family asks donations be made to a favorite charity in Tiven’s name.
