Dandelion salad

From the Homer Homemakers’ cookbook:

 

½ cup buds

1 bunch young leaves

2-3 strips bacon

3 tablespoons oil and vinegar

 

Fry bacon and remove. Throw buds into hot grease. When they have popped, drain and mix with greens and bacon. Season with oil and vinegar.
