Apple nut pudding
5 tablespoons flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
¾ cup sugar
2 eggs, separate
3 medium sized apples (pared and diced)
½ cup chopped walnuts
Mix flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Add beaten egg yolk and mix well. Stir in diced apples and nuts (chopped). Mix well.
Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Turn into well buttered Pyrex pie pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Cool. Cut like pie, serve with whipped cream. Serves six.
