Star welcomes new reporter
This week, you’ll see a new byline in the pages of the Chugiak-Eagle River Star.
Cinthia Ritchie recently joined our team, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to have her.
Cinthia worked for the Anchorage Daily News for seven years, four of which she spent as a features writer. She then served as the news editor for a weekly paper in Seward — the Seward Phoenix Log.
Cinthia, an avid runner, recently finished her second fiction novel, which is being published by Grand Central Publishing/Hachette Book Group. Her first book is titled “Dolls Behaving Badly.”
Cinthia brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Star. Her talents will be a huge asset to both the newspaper and the community.
So if you see Cinthia out and about — as I’m sure many of you will — introduce yourself and help welcome her to the Chugiak-Eagle River area.
