Police seek help in homicide investigation
Anchorage Police are seeking help from the public as they conduct an investigation into the death of an Eagle River man.
Andrew Conn, 32, was found dead as his home on the 20600 block of Mountain Vista Drive on Saturday, Dec. 7, according to a press release. APD responded to a report of a deceased male just after 5 p.m.
A witness told police they were attempting to call Conn on the phone throughout the day. The witness went to check on Conn at his residence and found him dead, APD said.
The witness alerted neighbors, who called police. APD sent detectives and a crime scene team to the residence.
The death is being investigated as a homicide, APD said. Conn’s next of kin have been notified.
An autopsy is being conducted to determine the cause of death, APD said.
