Guns stolen from Eagle River Pawn

A lone suspect broke into Eagle River Pawn and stole multiple handguns, according to Anchorage Police. Video surveillance showed a white male, about 5-foot-10 between 20-30 years-old with long hair breaking the glass gun counter and taking multiple weapons, APD spokesperson Anita Shell said.

The K-9 unit was called to the scene Dec. 13, she said, but was unable to track the suspect. Later that day, APD received a call that a shed at Boondock Sporting Goods was broken into, but nothing was taken. Shell said the community should be on the lookout for someone attempting to pawn handguns.

Gray’s boyfriend locked her out the apartment during an argument, Shell said. When he let her re-enter, Gray grabbed a screwdriver but he was able to get it away from her, she said. Gray was taken to Anchorage Jail and held on an unsecured bond.
