State House delegation to hold town hall meeting Jan. 6

Three Chugiak-Eagle River area legislators will hold a Town Hall meeting Saturday, Jan. 6, 2018 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Eagle River Town Center building (12001 Business Boulevard) in advance of the upcoming legislative session.

“We look forward to seeing you there and hearing what issues you are most concered about and what you would like to see us accomplish while we are in Juneau working for you,” reads a flyer sent out by Rep. Saddler’s office.

The second session of the 30th Alaska Legislature begins Jan. 16 in Juneau. Planning to attend the meeting are Rep. Dan Saddler (R-Ft. Rich/Eagle River), Rep. Lora Reinbold (R-Eagle River), Rep. Cathy Tilton (R-Chugiak/Butte/Knik). Senators Anna MacKinnon (R-Eagle River/Ft. Rich) and Shelley Hughes (R-Palmer/Chugiak) will already in Juneau, but plan to send staff representatives.

Legislators have also scheduled a town hall meeting Feb. 24, 2018 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Chugiak-Eagle River Senior Center.

The Jan. 6 meeting will be followed by a special community meeting on public safety hosted by Rep. Reinbold.
